FIA is a Nigerian brand best known for its eclectic and quirky designs, mixing and matching of prints that creates African contemporary pieces.
Funke(F), Ijeoma(I) and Abisose(A), a dynamic trio birthed the FIA brand in June 2015 and have remained the creative directors till date. A small thriving outfit conceptualized in Bonny Island has grown to service the trendy, eccentric and classy woman, with a fully fitted retail operational base now in Lagos, Nigeria. Sharing a unique vision and a fiery creative ethic, FIA is the new generation of African designers.
FIA showcased alongside the “About that Curvy life” brand (ATCL) for Arise fashion week and the DiorChimamanda Fashion gala held in Lagos in 2019; and has since 2016 been featured in numerous fashion events including being a part of the GTB Fashion weekend, First Bank to name a few.
FIA has achieved international and home based applause by adorning the likes of Nigerian based and International celebrities both home and abroad. The likes of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Monalisa Chinda, Angela Simmons, Betty Irabor, Dakore Egbuson- Akande spew praises on the quality, and the eclectic nature of the FIA Design.
